Today we celebrated a wonderful milestone during the 14th Pastoral Anniversary Celebration at Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church!

We give God all the glory for allowing us to honor our pastor and celebrate his faithful service and unwavering commitment to God's people.

We were truly blessed by the powerful message delivered by Pastor Isaac Matthews of God's Grace Community Church, whose preaching challenged, encouraged, and inspired everyone in attendance.

Youth Easter Program

What a powerful time we experienced today at Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church! 🙌🏽 Our Youth Easter Program was a true blessing. The reenactment of Jesus on the cross was deeply moving and reminded us all of His sacrifice and love. We are so proud of our youth and thankful for everyone who came out to support. Pastor Dayle Perry He is Risen! ✝️

105th Church Anniversary Program

Theme: One Church Many Generations

Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church proudly celebrated our 105th Church Anniversary on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

We were honored to welcome Dr. Darryl Broussard of Pure Light Church as our guest speaker, who delivered a powerful and inspiring message. This milestone service was a true reflection of God’s faithfulness, grace, and guidance over the past 105 years.

Under the leadership of Pastor Dayle Perry, we thank everyone who joined us in making this celebration meaningful and memorable.

February is Black History Month

Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church – Black History Month Presentation

Today at Greater Zion M.B.C., our Black History Month worship service featured a powerful and thought-provoking Slave Auction Reenactment, designed to educate, honor, and remember the resilience of our ancestors. Slave auctions were organized events where enslaved men, women, and children were displayed, inspected, and sold as property to the highest bidder during the era of the transatlantic and domestic slave trades. This inhumane practice was a central component of chattel slavery, reducing human lives to commodities for profit and labor.

Under the leadership of Pastor Dayle Perry, who served as the auctioneer in the reenactment, our congregation was given a vivid and emotional reminder of the harsh realities our ancestors endured—and the strength, dignity, and faith that carried them through.

This presentation was not only educational but served as a moment of reflection, unity, and gratitude for the progress made and the work that still lies ahead. Sister Green purchased the whole LOT for $1000.00.
